Integration Specialist

About the client

Our client is an American company that is an IT advisor providing a comprehensive suite of services, which encompasses managed IT services, CTO-level IT consulting, help-desk support, business VoIP phone solutions, and cloud services. By engaging our client’s services, one can benefit from their proactive IT management strategy, which enhances network uptime, facilitates faster technology upgrades, and ensures robust network security.

About the project

We are looking for an Integration Specialist with a backend mindset and eagerness to build robust middleware that connects disconnected third-party systems via API. You will develop and maintain automations using tools like Make.com, Zapier, Retool, n8n, and similar, creating seamless data flows between systems while also building light front-end interfaces and dashboards.

This is not a traditional software development role focused on coding everything from scratch. Instead, it requires leveraging low-code/no-code tools and integration platforms to quickly deliver high-impact solutions while being capable of custom coding when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain middleware with database backends to integrate third-party systems using APIs.
  • Develop and maintain automations using n8n, Make.com, Zapier, Retool, or similar tools.
  • Create dashboards, analytics reports, and data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data across disconnected systems.
  • Build and customize lightweight front-end interfaces as needed for internal tools.
  • Deep dive into data analysis to provide insights and actionable reporting.
  • Extend and maintain existing automation and integration layers within the client’s environment.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders following Scrum/Agile methodologies to prioritize and deliver integration projects effectively.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with integration/automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier, n8n, Retool).
  • Strong proficiency in working with REST APIs (authentication, data exchange, error handling).
  • Solid understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and experience designing data models for integration needs.
  • Ability to build dashboards and custom reports based on data from multiple systems.
  • Ability to write code when needed (e.g., JavaScript, Python) to complement low-code tool capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Scrum/Agile frameworks for organized development and delivery.
  • Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency.

As a plus

  • Experience with data-heavy tool integrations (extracting, transforming, sending data across apps).
  • Familiarity with API security and best practices.
  • Prior experience in building customer-facing lightweight dashboards or interfaces.

We offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Flexible working hours to maintain work-life balance.
  • 20 working days of annual vacation + paid state holidays.
  • Paid sick leave.
  • Personal laptop with all necessary software.
  • Support services: Corporate accountant, lawyer, and psychologist.
  • Professional growth: 50% compensation for workshops and professional conferences.
  • English classes (50% compensation).
  • Transparent and bureaucracy-free management.
