As they continue to expand and innovate, they are seeking a talented BigCommerce developer/consultant to join their team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate eCommerce business models. He should be able to provide insightful advice on various tools and platforms and possess a solid background in BigCommerce or Shopify. Experience with additional tools and technologies used in our project is highly desirable.

We’re considering a part-time format, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time later on.

• Implement responsive and cross-browser-compatible designs.
• Integrate third-party services and apps.
• Build custom apps using BigCommerce API + Node.js / React / Next.js.
• Optimize store performance, including page speed, SEO structure, and accessibility.
• Debug and troubleshoot frontend and backend issues in production and staging environments.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to development best practices.
• Work closely with PMs, a designer, and other developers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and daily stand-ups in Agile environments.

• Solid understanding and experience with headless eCommerce (including Composable Commerce, MACH architecture, headless storefront development).
• High level of knowledge of and experience working with Next.js and React.
• Experience working with Vercel.
• Experience working with Catalyst.
• Knowledge of Omnichannel.
• Experience working with Contentful.
• Experience with expanding the functionality of e-commerce platforms with cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English.

• Strong expertise in BigCommerce (or Comercetools).
