Sales Researcher


About the project

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Sales Researcher to support our business development team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying target companies, researching decision-makers, and building high-quality prospect databases to fuel our sales growth.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, conducting market analysis, and contributing to business expansion through structured research.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research and identify potential B2B clients, primarily in the US and the Nordics region.
  • Build and maintain targeted prospect lists (ICP-based).
  • Collect and verify contact information of decision-makers (C-level, Head of Engineering, CTOs, etc.).
  • Conduct market and competitor research.
  • Support outbound campaigns (LinkedIn, email outreach).
  • Enrich CRM with accurate and structured data.
  • Work closely with the Business Development Manager to refine the targeting strategy.
  • Monitor industry news, funding rounds, and expansion signals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales Research / Lead Generation / Sales support (preferably in IT).
  • Understanding of IT services, outsourcing, or custom software development business models.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Crunchbase, Clutch, or similar tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher (written communication required).
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

As a plus

  • Experience in the IT outsourcing/software development industry.
  • Understanding of B2B sales processes.
  • Experience researching the US and Northern European markets.
  • Understanding of ICP building and segmentation.
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce, etc.).
