Business Development Manager


About the project

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth and expand our international client portfolio.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building long-term partnerships, and closing deals with companies seeking high-quality software development services.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets (US, UK, EU, etc.).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (CTOs, Heads of Engineering, Founders, etc.).
  • Manage the full sales cycle: from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and deal closure.
  • Identify, approach, and acquire new B2B clients.
  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate contracts.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing and delivery teams to align growth strategies.
  • Represent the company at online/offline industry events when required.
  • Track sales performance and maintain accurate CRM records.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Development or B2B Sales (preferably in IT outsourcing or software development).
  • Proven track record of selling IT services or software solutions to the US and/or EU markets.
  • Understanding of the Northern European business culture and sales cycle.
  • Experience in outsourcing / outstaffing / custom software development sales.
  • English level: Upper-Intermediate or higher (fluent communication required).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and build processes from scratch.

As a plus

  • Experience working with US or Western European markets.
  • Existing network within the tech industry.
  • Experience selling team extension or dedicated team services.
