The Content Marketing Manager will own Vilmate’s global content direction – from planning and production to distribution and performance measurement. This role combines strategic thinking and hands-on execution, ensuring that content supports brand visibility, lead generation, and ABM initiatives in the US and European SMB markets. The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for building a scalable content pipeline (blogs, case studies, lead magnets, LinkedIn content, etc.) and aligning it with SEO and sales objectives.

Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Calendar:
- Conduct content audits and propose enhancements to the content strategy.
- Develop and execute the content strategy aligned with Vilmate’s marketing and business goals.
- Build and manage the editorial calendar (blogs, case studies, newsletters, landing pages, whitepapers, lead magnets, etc.).
- Define content priorities based on buyer personas, ICPs, and sales/ABM needs.
- Identify and propose new content formats (videos, interactive assets, thought leadership…).
Content Production & Management:
- Write and edit high-quality content tailored to CEO/CTO and SMB decision-makers.
- Manage freelance and in-house writers; ensure consistent brand tone and quality.
- Collaborate with designers for visuals and infographics.
- Prepare content for industry platforms (Clutch, G2, LinkedIn, newsletters, etc.).
- Ensure all content adheres to Vilmate’s brand guidelines, tone of voice, and messaging consistency.
SEO & Performance Alignment:
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure content is optimized for SEO (keywords, backlinks, landing page copy).
- Update content based on SEO audits and performance data.
- Track performance metrics (traffic, engagement, MQLs) and propose improvements.
Collaboration with Other Teams:
- Create targeted content to support Sales and BDM outreach (ABM lists, email sequences, proposals).
- Support campaigns with tailored messaging for events, webinars, and partnerships.
- Ensure technical accuracy and industry relevance of content by consulting with subject matter experts.
Innovation Tools & Continuous Improvement:
- Use AI-assisted writing/editing tools (for example, HoppyCopy, Jasper, Grammarly) to scale content production.
- Explore modern content formats and distribution channels to improve engagement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Monitor the effectiveness of AI tools and innovative solutions, adjusting strategies to maximize their impact.
- Continuously explore new tools, platforms, and methodologies to streamline content creation processes and improve quality.
Requirements
- 3+ years in content marketing, copywriting, or editorial roles (B2B IT/SaaS/outsourcing preferred).
- Strong writing and editing skills in English (near-native or native level preferred).
- Experience building content calendars and managing content production teams.
- Understanding of SEO principles and ability to create optimized content.
- Ability to adapt tone and messaging for different buyer personas.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation and optimization tools.
