As a Middle QA Engineer at Vilmate, you won’t be boxed into just one product. • Test Management: Plan, estimate, and execute comprehensive testing activities for both web and mobile (iOS/Android) applications.
• Documentation: Create, maintain, and upgrade QA artifacts (test cases, checklists, and test plans).
• End-to-End Testing: Perform functional, non-functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
• Lifecycle Ownership: Report, track, and verify defects, ensuring the loop is fully closed on every bug.

• Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with developers, PMs, and clients to ensure high-quality delivery at every stage of the SDLC.

• Requirement Analysis: Analyze requirements early in the cycle, spot edge cases, and suggest improvements before code is even written.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in QA
• Proven experience testing WordPress-based websites (custom themes, plugins, Gutenberg/Elementor, WooCommerce)
• Experience testing web and mobile applications
• Solid understanding of HTML/CSS/JS sufficient to identify and describe front-end issues accurately
• Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies: functional, regression, smoke, and UAT testing
• Ability to independently design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and checklists
• Practical experience with bug-tracking systems (Jira or equivalent) and writing clear, reproducible bug reports
• Experience conducting cross-browser and cross-device/responsive testing
• Ability to compare implementation against design specs (Figma)
• Working proficiency in English (Intermediate or higher) for documentation and team communication
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks under release deadlines
• Ability to work with different AI tools as a helper for the QA process and documentation creation.
